(NewsNation) — The Midwest was best throughout the month of July according to Realtor.com’s rankings.

Oshkosh, Wisconsin, was atop the list, moving up three spots from its June position and No. 20 in May. The city, famed for the eponymous children’s clothing brand, sits along the western portion of Lake Winnebago.

The rankings are comprised of market demand, measured by unique views of property on Realtor.com, alongside the number of days a listing remains active.

Prices in Oshkosh have risen 15% year-on-year and had 3.7 times the listing viewings of the average across America in July. The median active listing price was $374,000.

Hartford, Connecticut; Manchester-Nashua, New Hampshire; Rockford, Illinois, and Akron, Ohio, filled out the top five.

Cities listed at 6-10 were Monroe, Michigan; New Haven-Milford, Connecticut; Rochester, New York, and Janesville-Beloit, Wisconsin.

Of the top ten, five are in the Midwest, while the other five are in the Northeast. The top 20 towns were solely comprised of Midwestern and Northeastern cities.

The Las Vegas-Henderson-Paradise, Nevada, region was the most improved market of the month, jumping 73 spots up to 184th overall.
