33 arrested after fentanyl, guns seized in Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police announced that its latest crime-fighting initiative led to over 30 arrests and the seizure of guns, drugs and stolen vehicles last month.

On Friday, August 23, the Appling Farms Station ran Operation Code Zero. According to the MPD, the operation yielded 33 felony arrests, 14 felony warrant arrests, 30 misdemeanor arrests and six misdemeanor drug arrests.


Officers seized marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine, fentanyl and pills.

Officers also recovered eight firearms. One of the firearms was stolen and two had switches on them.

23 vehicles were towed and the police say that six of them were stolen.
