(NewsNation) — A woman who has previously filed a lawsuit against rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, alleging he forced her to participate in a sex-trafficking operation has now filed a police report against the music mogul, according to published reports.

The reports indicate Adria English, one of Combs’ accusers, spoke with Miami Beach Police last week and filed a report against the rapper, as was reported by US Weekly, along with TMZ and the Daily Mail.

TMZ reported that many of the claims made by English to police were similar to those included in her lawsuit against Combs. The allegations date back to the early 2000s, but the report said English had not previously spoken to police.

Miami Beach Police did not immediately return a message seeking comment from NewsNation on Wednesday.

English filed a civil lawsuit against Combs on July 3, according to a statement provided to US Weekly by her attorney, Ariel E. Mitchell.

“Ms. English hopes to file an additional criminal complaint in New York but has been precluded to this point as New York requires an individual to be in person in order to file a criminal complaint,” Mitchell’s statement said.

TMZ reported that after English filed the criminal complaint last week in Miami, investigators determined that there was not enough evidence to investigate human trafficking complaints or any other crime against Combs.

However, the report was filed, TMZ reported and could be handed over to federal investigators looking into the claims filed against Combs.

In a statement sent to NewsNation on Thursday, Combs’ attorney, Jonathan Davis, continued to maintain his client’s innocence.

“No matter how many lawsuits are filed it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted, or sex trafficked anyone,” Davis said. “We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason and without any proof. Fortunately, a fair and impartial judicial process exists to find the truth and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail against these and other baseless claims in court.”

TMZ has previously reported English was hired to be a dancer at Combs’ White Parties and that she is a former exotic dancer who performed under the stage name “Omunique.”

US Weekly reported a GoFundMe has been started on English’s behalf because of her limited means to engage in a legal battle.

“We look forward to hopefully being able to pursue justice as quickly as possible with the support of others who are interested in standing with her against the injustice she and others have faced at the hands of Mr. Combs,” English’s statement said.
