Diddy facing 8th sexual assault lawsuit: Reports

(NewsNation) — Another woman has filed a sexual assault lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs, according to several reports.

April Lampros filed the suit Thursday in New York against Combs, his label Bad Boy Records and Arista Records. She accuses Combs of committing rape and battery multiple times from the mid-1990s to the early 2000s.

“Combs promised to mentor her and help her by introducing her to music and fashion industry executives as well as assisting her with finding work,” the lawsuit reads.

“She felt that if she disobeyed him, he would take away her dreams of pursuing a career in his world. Mr. Combs would also threaten to blacklist her in the industry if she tried to mess with him in any way.”

The suit includes graphic details of Lampros’ allegations, including how their relationship devolved from being “loved bombed” with gifts to Combs allegedly turning violent.

Lampros’ suit comes days after Combs apologized to former girlfriend Casandra “Cassie” Ventura after video surfaced of him appearing to beat Ventura in the hallway of a Los Angeles hotel in 2016.

It’s the second suit filed against Combs this week. Crystal McKinney’s suit accuses Combs of drugging and sexually assaulting her in 2003 at his New York studio.
