(NewsNation) — Jordan Toma, a youth motivational influencer who has empowered millions of followers, says his Mother’s Day advice is to “show up.”
“Find a special card. Hand deliver it,” Toma said during an appearance Friday night on NewsNation’s “CUOMO.” “I think the moms just want their kids. You just being there is the greatest gift. If you can show up at their house, the gifts don’t matter. You are your mom’s gift. I think that’s all my mom ever wanted.”
Toma is the #1 youth motivational speaker in the U.S., despite growing up with a learning disability. He wrote and self-published “I’m Just A Kid With An IEP,” which he credits his mom for.
“I struggled to accept that I struggled. I had an IEP (Individualized Education Program), and my mom fought for that. She fought for the support, but I felt embarrassed.”
Toma thanks his mom for supporting him his entire life. “I would not be up here if it wasn’t for you. It was all worth it.”
