(WTAJ) — Prepare to update your grilled cheese menu: Kraft is launching three new Singles flavors.
The new flavors — Jalapeño, Garlic & Herb and Caramelized Onion — are the first in nearly a decade.
Kraft said the garlic & herb and carmelized onion flavors are “a new standard” as they enter the cheese category.
The company says almost 4 out of 10 U.S. households buy Kraft Singles, with over 480 packages “sold every minute.”
The new flavors will be available in late January in 16-slice packs at retailers nationwide.
According to the company, a large majority of Americans say they use Kraft Singles primarily for grilled cheese, followed by burgers and other sandwiches.
The new flavors follow a rebranding of the product in May 2023. At that time, a new logo was launched, and new packaging. The company said the new packaging was in response to complaints that the individual slices were hard to open and that it included a thicker wrapper and a flap that was slightly textured to make it easier to open.
