(NewsNation) — Gwyneth Paltrow passed her smarts down to her children.

The Goop founder, who has built a $250 million empire off of vaginal candles, vibrators and wellness products, has a big reason to celebrate this summer: Her son Moses was accepted into (and will be attending) Brown University in the fall.

Alums of the storied Rhode Island-based Ivy League university include John Krasinski, Allegra Versace and John F. Kennedy Jr.

“It’s a big deal Moses got in — it’s really difficult,” one insider said.

The university, which has over 50,000 applicants every year, has a 5.1% acceptance rate, and the average GPA for an applicant is 4.1 (an A++).

Meanwhile, Moses’ sister Apple is no slouch — she goes to Vanderbilt in Nashville. Both children are products of Paltrow’s first marriage to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. She is currently married to writer/director Brad Falchuk.

Gwyneth Paltrow’s crappy Hampton’s guest

Paltrow could use some good news after suffering through a house guest from hell in June.

As I reported, the guest had a catastrophic diarrheal accident while staying in Paltrow’s guest bedroom.

To make matters worse, upon waking up, the guest naturally freaked out, but instead of trying to clean up the mess, he decided to bolt in the wee hours of the morning, leaving not just the filthy bed but also a note for housekeeping and $100.

The guest and Paltrow are said to be taking a break from their friendship since then.

A rep for Paltrow and Goop declined to comment.
