(NewsNation) — Adele is Caesar Palace’s new Celine Dion — as in “she can play there forever if she wants,” a source said, “and why not? Touring is awful — it takes a lot out of an artist. It’s exhausting and draining and this way, all her fans know where to go to find her on any given night.”

Adele makes $2 million per show performing at the Colosseum and does on average three shows a week. To sweeten the deal, Caesar’s provides her with a $40,000 a night suite complete with a butler, chauffeur, and security. The deal also allows Adele, who has notorious nerves and a history of canceling shows while on tour, to relax and “have a home and just enjoy performing without the stress of touring.”

Jason Derulo to join Xtina, Kylie at Voltaire

Singer Jason Derulo has signed on to do a residency at Voltaire, the chic nightclub/lounge inside the Venetian. “This will highlight Jason as a superstar in a whole new way,” Michael Gruber, the founder of Voltaire and chief content officer of the Venetian told me. “He’s going to start once his European tour ends.” Derulo will be joining Christina Aguilera who “has a lifetime residency for as long as she wants,” another source said. The other artist on the permanent books is Kylie Minogue.

“Everyone loves (Aguilera and Minogue) at the Venetian,” the source said. “Kylie is the most eligible bachelorette in the world but is so humble and nice and Christina is just a legend. She’s reborn in Vegas.”
