(NewsNation) — A Wisconsin couple delivered their third child in a McDonald’s parking lot and it led to the sweet nickname for their new bundle of joy.

On Jan. 11, Analysia Beck, who was 38 weeks pregnant, told TODAY.com she started experiencing mild contractions around 11 p.m. She thought they were Braxton Hicks, which is known as false labor, and brushed them off. However, she was later awakened by painful contractions. Her water broke moments later.

Beck and her husband, Daniel, headed to the hospital but didn’t get far.

“We were in the car for like two minutes when I was like, ‘Daniel, you have to pull over, I feel like I’m sitting on the baby’s head,’” Beck told TODAY.com. “At that point, I knew he was coming, and we weren’t going to make it to the hospital.”

Daniel Beck pulled into a McDonald’s parking lot and called 911, while his wife climbed into the back of their SUV. The couple said it was around 3:55 a.m. and it was snowing hard.

“I pushed three times and he came out,” Beck said. “The paramedic barely made it, but they were there to catch him.”

The couple chose to name their son Michah, who was born weighing 8 pounds, 6 ounces, but have chosen to call him “Little McFlurry” after McDonald’s ice cream dessert.

“Between the blizzard and the McDonald’s, we think it’s very fitting!” Beck says.
