(NewsNation) — Kentucky State Police are asking for the public’s help as they search for an eight-month-old baby.
Police say Miya Tucker, of Reynolds Station Kentucky, was not found during a welfare check and search conducted at a motel room where they were found with fentanyl and methamphetamine.
Her mother, Tesla Tucker, 29, has been arrested and is facing several charges, including abandonment of a minor. Her father, Cage C. Rudd, 30, was also arrested and charged at the same time.
Another adult, Ricky Smith, was arrested on the same charges.
Miya Tucker was last known to be under the care of her parents, but police said they could not find her during the welfare check. Family members said they had not seen the baby since early May.
Police described the parents as uncooperative and said there is a chance the child is in the care of other family members.
Tucker has brown hair and green eyes. Anyone with information should call the Kentucky State Police at 270-826-3312.
