(NewsNation) — After Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes won his second Super Bowl on Sunday in his fifth year as a starter, the question immediately began to swirl: Is he on a path to dethrone Tom Brady as the GOAT?
Some, including Fox Sports analyst Shannon Sharpe, believe Mahomes already has.
The 27-year-old’s accomplishments — including two league MVP awards — have “sparked some conversation” about whether Mahomes is on his way to eclipsing Brady, Mahomes’ high school coach Adam Cook said.
Cook joined NewsNation’s “Rush Hour” on Monday to discuss Mahomes’ victory. Watch his interview above.
