Harris’ strategy is ‘the hug and the Heisman’: Mark Halperin

(NewsNation) — Mark Halperin, veteran political journalist and author, uses two metaphors to describe Kamala Harris’ connections to the Biden administration policies. He tells “On Balance” she will “hug” the items she agrees with, and push away, like the Heisman Trophy statuette, those she wants those she wants to distance herself from. He says Republicans tell him that Friday’s economic speech will make it easy for them to define Harris as a “San Francisco radical.”
