(NewsNation Now) — Donald Trump wins Florida, according to the Associated Press. The Sunshine State has 29 electoral votes, ranked third with the most a state has to offer.
In 2016, Trump captured Florida by just under 113,000 votes, the state that President Obama carried in both 2008 and 2012.
California has the most electoral votes with 55, followed by 38 in Texas, 29 in New York and Florida, 20 in Illinois and Pennsylvania, and 18 in Ohio. The magic number is 270, the minimum number of electoral votes required to secure a majority and win the presidential election.
