Top Trump PAC slams Harris in new ad after Biden endorsement

A top Trump super PAC rolled out a new ad panning Vice President Kamala Harris shortly after President Biden announced plans to step aside from the Democratic ticket and endorsed her to become the next president.

Less than an hour after Biden’s announcement, MAGA Inc. unveiled a new spot that is set to run in battleground states in short order panning Harris for the president’s “obvious mental decline.”

“Kamala was in on it. She covered up Joe’s obvious mental decline,” the ad charges, quoting Harris saying in interviews that Biden is “is in good shape [and] in good health,” among other comments.

“Kamala knew Joe couldn’t do the job, so she did it. Look what she got done: a border invasion, runaway inflation, the American Dream dead,” the ad continues, pointing to Harris’s work on the border. “They created this mess. They know Kamala owns this failed record.”

According to the group, the ad is set to hit the airwaves as soon as possible in Pennsylvania, Georgia and Arizona as part of a $5 million-per-week ad push.

Biden announced his decision in a letter he posted to social media, which was followed shortly after by a post endorsing the vice president to become the Democratic presidential nominee.

“My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President. And it’s been the best decision I’ve made,” Biden wrote. “Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year.

“Democrats — it’s time to come together and beat Trump. Let’s do this,” he added.
