Trump says Grand Rapids to host debate; Harris hasn’t agreed yet

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Former President Donald Trump says that Grand Rapids is hosting the third presidential debate between him and Vice President Kamala Harris but the Harris campaign says only one debate, not in Grand Rapids, is scheduled.

According to a post on Truth Social on Sunday, Trump said that a debate would take place on NBC on Sept. 25 and would be moderated by Lester Holt.

The post said that this third debate would follow the first on Sept. 4 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on Fox News. The Harris campaign said that she has not agreed to the debate on Sept. 4. The second debate, according to Trump’s post, will take place on ABC on Sept. 10 at Independence Hall in Philadelphia. It will be moderated by David Muir.

The Harris campaign told News 8 that all future debates are contingent on Trump showing up to the ABC debate on Sept. 10, but added additional talks about more debates may happen before the debate on ABC.

“I look forward to seeing Kamala at all three Debates!” Trump’s post said in part.

NBC News has not confirmed any information about a debate.
