Here’s what RFK Jr. is doing during the Trump-Biden debate

(NewsNation) — Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will answer Thursday’s debate questions live from his own website after failing to win a spot on CNN’s debate stage.

NewsNation will live stream his response online. RFK Jr. will also be an exclusive guest on NewsNation after Thursday’s debate. Find your channel at joinnn.com.

“Over 70% of Americans want a different choice than Presidents Biden or Trump,” Kennedy said in a video he posted on X. “They’re tired of voting for the lesser of two evils.”

Kennedy filed a federal complaint in late May alleging the campaigns belonging to President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump colluded with CNN to keep him from participating in upcoming televised debates.

As of Tuesday, Kennedy instead plans to answer the same debate questions live on TheRealDebate.com, which will be streamed live on X.

“I’m going to be on that debate state with or without their permission,” he said.

About 78% of voters say they have plans to watch the debate, according to the latest NewsNation/Decision Desk HQ poll. The majority of voters (65%) believe independent and third-party candidates should be allowed to participate in debates.
