NewsNation to present special live coverage of the 60th presidential inauguration

CHICAGO, IL (Jan. 13, 2025) – NewsNation will present special live coverage of the inauguration of President-elect Donald J. Trump and Vice President-elect James D. Vance on Monday, January 20th.

NewsNation’s Inauguration Day coverage will begin at 9 a.m. ET with a two-hour live report anchored by The Hill’s Blake Burman, who will preview the day’s main event. The broadcast of the swearing-in ceremony will be co-anchored by Chris Cuomo, Chris Stirewalt, Elizabeth Vargas, and Leland Vittert in Washington, D.C., and air from 11 a.m. ET – 3 p.m. ET.

At 3 p.m. ET, Connell McShane and Elizabeth Vargas will each anchor special editions of NewsNation Now and Elizabeth Vargas Reports from Washington, D.C., followed by The Hill at 6 p.m. ET, and On Balance at 7 p.m. ET. Later that evening, Mr. Cuomo will host a special two-hour edition of CUOMO from 8-10 p.m. ET, and Mr. Vittert will follow from 10-11 p.m. ET, with a one-hour special entitled, “Special Report: Inauguration Day.”

National network correspondents Kellie Meyer, Joe Khalil, Libbey Dean and Robert Sherman will be stationed across a variety of key locations in Washington, D.C. Additionally, news guests and political contributors George Will and Mick Mulvaney will provide commentary for NewsNation throughout the day.
