CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. (NewsNation) — A 73-vehicle pile-up crash Saturday afternoon in Pennsylvania resulted in no reported life-threatening injuries or deaths.
The crash happened around 2 p.m. amid whiteout conditions on Route 581 east of Cumberland County, NewsNation local affiliate WHTM reported.
Capital Area Transit buses picked up drivers and passengers involved in the crash and brought them to the local fire department so they could warm up and reunite with loved ones.
Tow trucks were brought to the scene to assist with the clean-up.
Roads were closed for several hours.
