BRUNSWICK COUNTY, N.C. (NewsNation) — A stubborn alligator had to be corralled twice from a North Carolina highway in one night, according to deputies.
Officers were called to the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge on multiple reports of a gator hanging out in the roadway.
Deputies, who said the gator was growling at them, wrangled the reptile while joking “It’s all fun and games.”
According to video, it took a couple of deputies to drag the tethered gator to safety.
FOX13 Tampa reports deputies were called back to Highway 17S to once again remove the persistent highway enthusiast from the road.
No injuries to the alligator or first responders were reported.
