(NewsNation) — A sweet take on a savory Mexican favorite is one of the 50-plus new food items people can get at Arizona Cardinals games this season.

A press release earlier this month announced that cotton candy burritos will be added to the menu at State Farm Stadium. These burritos consist of cotton candy-flavored ice cream topped with Fruity Pebbles, Froot Loops, marshmallows, Skittles, Mini M&M’s, gummy bears and sprinkles and wrapped in a cotton candy shell.

Jeremy Walls, the team’s chief operating officer, said in a statement that the organization is trying to reset and improve all things gameday. In a survey with season-ticket members, fans of the NFL team said they wanted more variety, local presence and healthy options when it came to food.

“On the football side but also on the business side, we are innovating, and we are really focused on the fan experience,” Walls said. “You will hear over the next several weeks about a lot of changes we are making to State Farm Stadium that will be exciting, but (Tuesday) is really about food.”

Other new culinary offerings this season include a chicken and waffle sandwich, Flaming Hot Cheeto chicken tenders, a nutty Asian Salad and a meatball hoagie on a stick. Vegan choices include summer rolls, pizza and buffalo cauliflower bites.

The NFL season officially starts Thursday, Sept. 5, this year, though the Cardinals have already begun competing in preseason games.
