LAKE LUZERNE, N.Y. (News Nation) — A major fire in upstate New York has damaged the home of chef and talk show host Rachael Ray, News Nation affiliate WTEN reports.

Firefighters were called to the in the town of Lake Luzerne, which is north of Albany, at around 8 p.m. (ET) on Sunday.

In a statement, a representative for Ray confirmed she and her family were safe.

Rachael, her husband and their dog Bella are safe. The house is unfortunately damaged and we don’t yet know to what extent.

In April, the celebrity chef began broadcasting two episodes of her syndicated show, RACHAEL RAY, from her home in update New York each week, according to a media release from ViacomCBS.

In-studio production had halted amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The show is scheduled to enter its 14th season in September.
