Felicia Bolton is a NewsNation national correspondent and NewsNation Now digital anchor.
Before joining NewsNation, Bolton was the morning anchor and investigative reporter at WNCN in Raleigh, North Carolina. In 2020, she won “Anchor of The Year” from the Radio, Television and Digital News Association of the Carolinas. Bolton also received an award from RTDNAC for her online and social media coverage of Hurricane Florence in 2018.
Bolton’s broadcast career has taken her all over the south. While working as an anchor and reporter at WMC-TV in Memphis, Bolton received multiple awards from the Tennessee Associated Press. She also worked at KTVE / KARD in West Monroe, Louisiana, and at KOSA-TV in Odessa, Texas.
Bolton graduated Cum Laude in three years from University of Texas at Arlington with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Spanish and Broadcast Communications. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
In her free time, Bolton enjoys giving back to the community through volunteerism and mentorship. She founded “A.B.L.E. To Dance,” a program which teaches Latin Ballroom Dance techniques to adults with intellectual disabilities. She is a former Miss Texas and Miss Texas Teen for National American Miss. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and dog.
