IRIVING, Texas (NewsNation Now) — Kimberly-Clark has issued a recall of Cottonelle Flushable Wipes and Cottonelle GentlePlus Flushable Wipes because of possible bacteria concerns.

The products included in the recall were manufactured between Feb. 7, 2020 – Sept. 14, 2020.

According to Kimberly-Clark, the product could show the presence of a bacterium, pluralibacter gergoviae. Pluralibacter gergoviae does not often cause serious infections in healthy individuals. However, people with weakened immune systems are at a heightened risk of infection.
