Tom grew up along the Jersey Shore and is a proud alum of the University of Miami. Throughout his decade in reporting, Tom covered the George Floyd protests, the 2016 Iowa caucuses, and the Super Bowl championship won by the Kansas City Chiefs.
He also served as a main correspondent for numerous state and local elections and issues. He began his journalism career as a morning anchor and reporter at WHSV in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He later reported for nearly five years at 41 Action News in Kansas City before moving back to the East Coast to be a reporter at WUSA.
Tom is a huge sports fan and follows the New Jersey Devils, Miami Hurricanes, New York Mets, New York Giants, and Celtic FC. You can also catch him BBQing and playing video games.
