(WPHL) — A Bucks County man has been charged in the gruesome murder of his father after the victim was found beheaded inside the family’s Middletown Township home on Tuesday night, according to police.

32-year-old Justin Mohn has been charged with murder and abuse of a corpse, among other charges, after police say he allegedly decapitated his father and then posted the brutal act on YouTube.

Bucks County District Attorney

Middletown Township Police Captain Pete Feeney held a press conference early Wednesday morning to provide details about the case:

According to Feeney, officers responded to the 100 block of Upper Orchard Drive at around 7 p.m. on Tuesday after the victim’s wife called 911 to report the discovery of her husband’s bloody and decapitated body that she found inside the downstairs bathroom of their family home.

According to the criminal complaint released by the Bucks County District Attorney’s office, the wife had told police that she was last home at 2 p.m. where she left. When she returned she noticed that her husband’s 2009 white Toyota Corolla, the front door to her house was unlocked, and her son, Justin Mohn, was missing.

When officers arrived, they located the victim, reportedly in his 60s, and pronounced him dead.

Police said the deceased victim had his head removed from his body, and that the male’s head was found inside a plastic bag which was put inside a cooking pot on the first-floor bedroom floor near the bathroom.

According to the criminal complaint, a large Machete knife and a large kitchen were found in the bathtub. Police also found clear rubber gloves that contained traces of blood on them on the second-floor bedroom desk and in the small trashcan near the desk.

By the time police arrived, Mohn fled in his father’s vehicle.

Before fleeing, Mohn posted a disturbing video online depicting the brutal murder of his father, said police. The video was reportedly viewed at least 5,000 times before it was taken down.

Middletown Township police viewed the video which was 14:35 in length and had been titled “Mohn’s Militia – Call to Arms for American Patriots.” which had been posted by @justinmohn6542.

In the video, Mohn was seen wearing the same clear rubber gloves which were found at the crime scene and was also seen picking up the decapitated head of his father Michael Mohn, identifying him by name, and stating “he is now in hell for eternity.”

Parts of the video are still surfacing online where Mohn identifies himself and appears to show off his father’s decapitated head to the camera.

Mohn was later arrested near Fort Indiantown Gap in Lebanon County, which is about 100 miles from the crime scene. Police were able to track Mohn down by pinging his cell phone to the area. Mohn initially ran from the police, but they were able to bring him into custody.

Mohn was arraigned on video early Wednesday morning because of the severity of the charges.

The father was identified as Michael Mohn.

The motive for the killing is still under investigation.

Mohn is being held without bail. He is scheduled to appear in court for his preliminary hearing on February 8.
