NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Another suspect wanted in connection to a shooting that left a Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) trooper injured has been captured in Davidson County.

Timothy L. Davis Jr. was transported to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office jail on Monday, July 22. According to THP, he will be booked on charges related to the shooting of THP trooper Adam Cothron.

His apprehension comes after Saturday’s capture of 29-year-old Braze Rucker, who was found in Princeton, Kentucky by the Kentucky State Police.

“Law enforcement placed Trooper Adam Cothron’s handcuffs on Timothy L. Davis Jr.,” another post read. “He will wear these handcuffs on his way to booking. Thank you to everyone for your support of the THP, Trooper Cothron and his family.”

According to THP, Cothron pulled over a white Kia Forte for a traffic violation and was shot during the interaction. Rucker, who was identified as a passenger in the vehicle, and the unidentified driver then fled on Highway 109 near Gallatin. The car was later found abandoned in Sumner County.
