PARIS (WOOD) — Abby Cadabby of “Sesame Street” is loving the “girl power” at the Paris Olympics.

The fairy-in-training is at the Olympics with her “Sesame Street” friends Elmo and Cookie Monster. News 8 Sports Director Jack Doles caught up with her to see if she’s having a good time.

“I am so inspired. This is the most magical time. A great time for girl power, too,” Abby said.

She said she has been able to meet Katie Ladecky — who with 14 Olympic medals now has more than any other female swimmer — and gymnasts Suni Lee and Jordan Chiles, who helped America win gold in the team competition. Lee also won bronze in the individual all-around and on uneven bars. Chiles took bronze on the floor.

“It’s just been epic. Everybody’s so kind,” Abby said.

“And I also like the crepes,” she added.
