(NewsNation) — Calls made to 911 after the Kentucky I-95 shooting have been released, shedding new light on the panic endured by those at the scene on Saturday.

Five people were shot and wounded and 12 vehicles were shot at. Authorities believe the man responsible is Joseph Couch, 32, who was first considered a person of interest when a vehicle registered in his name was found near the scene.

A statewide manhunt for Couch has entered its fourth day, with police believing the former Army Reserves soldier is hiding in southern Kentucky woodland.

In an erratic 911 call, a man can be heard telling the operator his car was shot at, and at least one woman had been wounded.

“She got shot through the door here, too,” the caller told the 911 official. “Are you okay? Are you okay?”, the man asked a female victim.

“She’s shot, she’s bleeding… she’s gushing blood, bad,” the caller added.

Another 911 caller said a man, believed to be Couch, was shooting at cars at exit 49 on I-75.

Multiple callers told 911 they had been shot, however, none of the injuries that occurred are believed to be life-threatening.
