(NewsNation) — Eric Adams is the first sitting New York City mayor to be charged with a crime, including bribery and conspiracy wire fraud, among others. Trial lawyer Rich Schoenstein said he doesn’t think the mayor can do his job effectively while dealing with the indictment and a possible trial should he fight the charges.
