Elyse Russo is NewsNation’s executive producer of digital content.
Most recently, Russo worked at WGN-TV in Chicago, where she spent nearly nine years in the digital department. She served as WGN’s digital EP for six years.
She also worked as a web producer at ABC7 Chicago, and spent two years prior working in print journalism in central Illinois.
Russo earned her master’s degree at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism and bachelor’s degree from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
She lives in Chicago with her husband and young son.
