Mills Hayes is a national correspondent for NewsNation based in Chicago. She joined the network in July 2024.
Prior to joining NewsNation, she worked as a multimedia reporter in Minneapolis for Fox News, Fox Business and local Fox-affiliates across the country. Previously, Ms. Hayes worked as a reporter at ABC’s KATV in Little Rock, Arkansas and KFOX 14 in El Paso, Texas.
Ms. Hayes has covered several notable news stories, including the border crisis, COVID-19, the 2019 El Paso mass shooting at a local Walmart, the 2022 Midterm elections, and the 2024 Republican presidential primary race.
Born and raised in the Palmetto State, she graduated from the University of South Carolina where she studied broadcast journalism and political science.
