(NewsNation) — An 11-year-old boy was taken into custody Tuesday in connection to the 2024 death of 63-year-old Scott Dwight Habermehl.

Albuquerque police have already arrested 13-year-old Johnathan Overbay, who is accused of crashing a stolen car into Habermehl as he was riding his bike on his way to work. A 15-year-old is also wanted in connection to the killing.

Harold Medina, chief of the Albuquerque Police Department, said the 11-year-old is on a 72-hour hold and has lawyers.

According to police, the kids recorded video of the crash as the driver swerved onto the bike lane. In February, the department received an anonymous tip that the video of the crash was posted to social media.

Overbay was charged with murder. Police are still searching for the 15-year-old boy.
