(NEXSTAR) – Thousands of iPhone users reported issues with Apple’s messaging app, iMessage, Thursday afternoon.

Complaints of problems with iMessage began spiking around 2:45 p.m. Pacific Time, according to DownDetector. The outage tracking site also noted issues reported with Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile starting around the same time.

iPhone users took to X to complain about problems sending text messages and to confirm others were experiencing the same delays.

Some users experienced problems with Apple Message for Business and HomeKit, while others were unable to use iMessage or Facetime, Apple said on its system status page.

All issues were resolved by 3:35 p.m.

Apple did not immediately respond to Nexstar’s request for comment and did not offer additional details about the cause of the issues.

This is a developing story and will be updated.
