Anonymous Diddy accuser revealed as NHL player’s ex-wife

  • Dozens of accusers have come forward against Diddy
  • Rap music mogul was indicted in federal court
  • Accuser said Diddy's lawyers forced her to go public

(NewsNation) — The ex-wife of an NHL hockey player has come forward, revealing herself as one of the anonymous accusers who filed a sexual assault lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Anna Kane amended her lawsuit with her full name after previously filing as a “Jane Doe,” TMZ reported.

Kane, who was married to NHL player Evander Kane until 2021, said Combs’ lawyer demanded in legal filings that she use her name, which forced her to go public, the outlet reported.

“I had hoped to use a pseudonym in pursuing justice for what happened to me as a teenager. Defendants’ demand that I use my name was an attempt to intimidate me, but I am not intimidated. I am prepared to proceed and hold accountable those who have harmed me,” she said in a statement to TMZ.

Kane filed a federal lawsuit in December 2023, alleging Combs, Bad Boy Records executive Harve Pierre and a third “assailant” gang-raped her when she was 17 after trafficking her across state lines in 2003.

She said that she met Pierre as a junior in high school when he approached her at a lounge in Detroit near her home.

Pierre and Combs convinced the then-teen to take a private jet with them and a third person to Combs’ recording studio in New York City.

That’s where they drugged her and then began taking turns raping her, she alleged.

“As the night wore on, the 17-year old Ms. Doe became more and more inebriated, eventually to the point that she could not possibly have consented to having sex with anyone, much less someone twice her age,” the lawsuit stated.

“As a result of being raped by Mr. Combs, Mr. Pierre and the Third Assailant, Ms. Doe suffered significant emotional distress and feelings of shame that have plagued her life and personal relationships for 20 years.”

The lawsuit contained blurred photos of a girl with Combs, which Kane said is her.

Judges are handling each case against Combs individually, deciding which accusers can remain anonymous. Last month, Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil ordered accuser Candice McCrary to use her real name after she sued Combs of assault in 2004, reported People.

Combs has been hit with a slew of civil suits stretching back to alleged wrongdoing starting in the early 1990s.

A number of his accusers say they were teens when they were allegedly assaulted by him and several attest in their lawsuits he had rage-filled, violent tendencies.

Tony Buzbee, a lawyer from Houston, says he is representing 120 people who plan on filing lawsuits saying they have experienced sexual misconduct from Combs, including 25 minors.

Erica Wolff, Combs’ lawyer, said in a statement to NewsNation that the rap mogul “emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors.”

Combs was indicted by a grand jury in New York on three counts of racketeering, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Prosecutors allege Combs used the resources of his music empire to create “a criminal enterprise whose members and associates engaged in, and attempted to engage in, among other crimes, sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice.”
