NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) —An 18-year-old has been charged after 10,000 pills containing fentanyl were discovered at the Greyhound bus station in downtown Nashville Wednesday.

Metro police reported detectives approached Ivan Corrales as he got off a bus from Texas at the station on Lafayette Street around 5:30 p.m.

Corrales initially denied having illegal narcotics but agreed to let detectives search him and his bags. Officers found a large bundle wrapped in duct tape with 10,000 pills that contained fentanyl, according to court documents.

Corrales reportedly told officers he had been given the pills in El Paso, Texas. He was booked into the Metro jail and charged with felony drug possession. His bond was set at $75,000.
