CADDO PARISH, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Six suspects accused of murder and seven accused of sex crimes were indicted by a Caddo Parish Grand Jury on Wednesday.

A news release from the Caddo Parish District Attorney’s office announced the 13 true bills, which include two Shreveport men and another from Fort Worth, Texas, accused of the fatal shooting of an infant.

The first indictment relates to the shooting death of Jtorryon Williams, 20, who was shot numerous times while sitting in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 4300 block of Lakeshore Drive.

Shreveport residents Jadavion Decorey Cooper, 21, and Dequavion Dangelo Pouncy, 19, were indicted separately for second-degree murder related to the shooting on February 15, 2024, that fatally injured Williams.

Three men, Deanthony Rayshon Griffin, 28, and Laterrion Treshon Watts, 23, both of Shreveport and Demond Sirlloyd Baber, 22, of Fort Worth, were indicted for the February 11, 2024, slaying of one-year-old Karter Martin and the attempted second-degree murder of Isaiah Cooks. A single bullet struck the baby after the alleged shooters opened fire on an apartment in the 200 block of East Stoner Ave.

The last of the murder indictments relates to the February 18, 2024, slaying of Dwight Green. Fatonious Ballard, 31, was charged with second-degree murder related to Green’s death, who was shot and killed in front of friends and family as he barbecued in a parking lot of a business located in the 5100 block of Broadway Avenue.

Due to the nature of sexual crimes, the details of the last seven indictments were issued under seal.

Charged with first-degree rape and indecent behavior with juveniles in Frank Mazen Jr., 38, of Shreveport. He was booked into Caddo Correctional Center on February 14, 2024.

Timothy Tippit III, no age or residence available, is charged with first-degree rape.

Christopher Dewayne Christaw, 34, of Shreveport, is charged with first-degree rape. He was booked into CCC on April 12, 2024.

Taurrez Richardson, 33, no residence available, was indicted for first-degree rape. He was booked into CCC on February 28, 2024.

Dustin Metcalf, 25, of Shreveport, was indicted for first-degree rape. He was booked into CCC on February 29, 2024.

James Lamont Washington, 50, of Shreveport, was indicted for first-degree rape. He was booked into CCC on March 1, 2024.

Daniel Havis, 32, of Shreveport, was indicted for first-degree rape. He was booked into CCC on January 25, 2024.
