LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Three people have been arrested in Lexington, Kentucky, after authorities seized 27 pounds of methamphetamine and 1.5 pounds of fentanyl.
According to the Lexington Police Department, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and the Winchester Police Department, they worked with officers to target several out-of-state suspects involved in drug trafficking.

During the investigation, the police said that 27 pounds of methamphetamine, and 1.5 pounds of fentanyl were seized, along with over $15,000 in cash and a handgun.
On Tuesday, Fred Hardin, 41, Gene Primus, 31, and Danielle Taylor, 39, were arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine and fentanyl. They are currently being housed at the Fayette County Detention Center.
