(NewsNation) — Jewish Democrats on Capitol Hill are up in arms over the liberal criticism of Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, saying the potential vice presidential pick has been unfairly maligned merely because he was the leading Jewish figure on Vice President Harris’s shortlist.

Rep. Jake Auchincloss, D-Mass., disagrees and joined “CUOMO” to explain.

“The online Left was applying a double standard to Josh Shapiro that was unfair and unacceptable,” Auchincloss said Tuesday. “The other is, I don’t think Harris was influenced by them.”
