(NewsNation) — Gird your loins — Barbra Streisand is back with yet another project about her life.

Last year she released her 992-page memoir, “My Name Is Barbra,” which sold a paltry 172,000 copies and was considered a financial flop

And now, she’s working on a documentary about her life.

As Streisand wrote on Instagram: “For years I’ve been thinking about the best way to share the vast amount of content I’ve been safely storing in my vault, much never seen or heard by the public. And today I’m delighted to finally share that we’re starting production on my official documentary. I’m looking forward to working with Frank Marshall, Alex Gibney and Sony Music to bring this very personal project to screens around the world.”

Insiders said they hope she has a good editor to whom she listens, as “otherwise, bring your Depends (adult diapers), this will be a 10-hour marathon viewing.”

The length of Streisand’s memoir was partially blamed for the lack of sales (as well as her fans dying off), and perhaps she should have done what Cher is doing: releasing her memoir in three separate parts, making it more palatable to the reader.

“It was almost as long as ‘Gone With the Wind,’ and who has time for that?” a publishing source said.
