(NewsNation) — Actress Daphne Joy says her ex-boyfriend, rapper 50 Cent, raped and physically abused her.
“I am tired of upholding and protecting an image to our son that you have never even earned. Let’s put the real focus on your true evil actions of raping me and physically abusing me,” Joy wrote in an Instagram post Thursday. “You are no longer my oppressor and my God will handle you from this point on.”
The post comes after 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson, made fun of Joy on Instagram over a lawsuit filed by music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones against Sean “Diddy” Combs in which he called her a “sex worker” for the hip-hop executive and producer.
Combs is currently involved in several lawsuits that accuse him of sexual abuse and sex trafficking. Two of his properties were raided by federal law enforcement earlier this week, although they have not confirmed this was in connection to the litigation.
“I didn’t know you was a sex worker, 👀you little sex worker,” Jackson said to Joy in his post.
In a separate Instagram post, Joy denied the allegations.
“I am deeply hurt by the lies in Rodney Jones’ lawsuit,” Joy wrote. “The claim that I am a sex worker is 100% false and character assassination. I am retaining an attorney to explore all legal remedies against both Rodney and his attorney.”
She said of Jackson, “Everything is a joke to you until our safety is compromised, which is happening now.”
“You are wreaking real havoc, frenzy and chaos onto people’s lives,” Joy wrote on social media.
Joy went on to accuse Jackson of being a negligent father and only seeing their son ten times even though they moved to New York to be closer to him.
In 2013, Jackson was charged with misdemeanor domestic violence and three counts of vandalism after allegedly kicking Joy and destroying her property, according to Reuters.
The domestic violence charge was dropped, though, after he pleaded no contest to a single count of misdemeanor vandalism.
A representative for Jackson told People magazine in a statement that what Joy said is “false and baseless” and is a response to him seeking sole custody of him and Joy’s son.
“Keeping him in a safe environment is my only focus at this time,” Jackson said.
