(WJW) — The rumors are true — Dairy Queen’s once very popular Cherry Dipped Cones are coming back, at least for a limited time.

It was less than a year ago that Dairy Queen fans were left brokenhearted when DQ discontinued its cherry cone dip. At the time, the news first broke on the TikTok account of a Dairy Queen manager in Michigan. The page, which now has more than 2 million followers, also revealed the cherry dip’s triumphant return.

“Due to popular demand, cherry is coming back,” said the video that has now been viewed more than 100,000 times.

A Dairy Queen spokesperson confirmed the inside scoop with NewsNation affiliate WJW and said, “We know our fans love the Cherry Dipped Cone, and we’re excited to bring this sweet offering back for a limited time at participating locations.”

Dairy Queen didn’t specify when the Cherry Dipped Cones would once again be available and didn’t immediately respond to a request for more detail.
