World’s largest cannabis-infused pizza coming to Chicago for Pi Day

CHICAGO (WGN) — It’s being called ‘History in the Baking.’

In celebration of Pi Day, the world’s largest cannabis-infused pizza is coming to Chicago.

On Friday, March 14, Ivy Hall, the city’s first Social Equity dispensary, will collaborate with chain Paulie Gee to craft the massive 64″ x 32″ pan pizza, made fresh at Paulie Gee’s Logan Square location.

Customers will also get their infused toppings, including Mike’s Hot Honey, Balsamic glaze, and more.

Pizza enthusiasts and cannabis connoisseurs are encouraged to attend at Ivy Hall Logan Square, located at 3115 W. Armitage Ave. The start time begins at “High” noon (pun intended).

Ivy Hall Logan Square also says it will host a cannabis consumption lounge for the first time for participants 21 years and older.

“Cannabis and pizza are a perfect pairing to bring people together and build community through shared experiences,” said Jonny Boucher, director of marketing for Ivy Hall.

Derrick Tung, owner of Paulie Gee’s Logan Square, said the infused pizza is and continues to be a labor of love.

“I’m happy to have had the opportunity to achieve such a feat with my team at Paulie Gee’s Logan Square and Ivy Hall,” Tung said. “There are few words more appetizing than infused pizza, so I invite our customers over 21 to make their way down to Ivy Hall Logan Square to grab a slice on Pi Day.”
