CHICAGO (NewsNation Now) — Harry Styles becomes the first male to be featured solo on a cover of Vogue. The fashion and lifestyle magazine has only had men on the cover 10 times in its 127-year history.
Styles adorns the magazine’s December cover story He is pictured wearing a tuxedo jacket and dress by Gucci. In his interview he spoke to defying gender norms, his thoughts on personal growth and his music.
“I think with music it’s so important to evolve — and that extends to clothes and videos and all that stuff,” he told Vogue. “That’s why you look back at David Bowie with Ziggy Stardust or the Beatles and their different eras — that fearlessness is super inspiring.”
He is most known for his singer-songwriter role in the boy band One Direction,
Styles’ album “Fine Line,” released in Dec. 2019. His new album “Golden” is in the works.
