PUT-IN-BAY, Ohio (WJW) — A country music star said he was stopped by the U.S. Coast Guard while leaving Bash on the Bay where he was the headline performer.
Jelly Roll posted a video to his Instagram at about 11 p.m. on Wednesday that said “We got pulled over by the Coast Guard!”
He went on to say, “It was crazy. We had the sheriff of the county with us. But, it actually turned out to be okay. So we are back on our way. Thank you to everybody who was concerned.”
The performer who won multiple awards at the 57th Annual Country Music Awards, including New Artist of the Year, didn’t say why they were pulled over.
Earlier in the night he posted another video that showed him sitting on a boat and wrote, “Never been to a show that requires a boat ride – this is cool.”
The two-day outdoor music festival happens at Put-in-Bay Airport on South Bass Island and is said to be one of Put-in-Bay’s hottest music festivals each year.
