(NewsNation) — After reports surfaced Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are taking time apart, TMZ is reporting they are quietly trying to sell the $60 million Beverley Hills home they bought in 2023 after they got married.

According to TMZ, the couple bought the house after looking at over 80 properties over nearly two years. Now, there are reports that Lopez is already looking for a new home.

The expansive 38,000-square-foot modern estate on Wallingford Drive, near Benedict Canyon Drive, features 12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms and a 12-car garage.

The news comes amid reports that the couple’s marriage is in trouble, with Affleck already having moved out of the house and shifting to a rental in Brentwood.

But while no one is speaking to a divorce attorney (yet), a friend of Affleck’s tells NewsNation’s Paula Froelich he doesn’t see how the two will work out in the long run.

“They don’t really have much in common,” the pal told Froelich. “He’s way more low-key. He likes to hang with the guys and is a homebody. She likes the glamour and the pomp and circumstance. He is an addict (Affleck has dealt with drugs, alcohol, and gambling issues over the past few decades); she is sober and doesn’t drink, do drugs, or gamble.”

Meanwhile, Lopez has canceled her 2024 North American tour to “be with her children, family and close friends,” Live Nation said in a statement.
