VANCOUVER, Canada (WJW) — National headlines and social media are all abuzz with what TMZ describes as “Madonna’s cringe moment.”
Multiple news agencies across the country, including TMZ, posted cell phone videos showing Madonna pointing at a concertgoer then asking her over the arena speakers, “What are you doing sitting down over there?”
Madonna then asks the question again, this time she puts both of her hands up and drops them to her side.
Awkward? There’s more.
Madonna then grabs the microphone out of its stand and walks briskly across the stage right toward the seated woman. Madonna looks straight down at the woman…hesitates as she sees the woman is in a wheelchair then Madonna said, “Oh, okay. Politically incorrect. Sorry about that. I’m glad you’re here.”
Social media blew up with seemingly countless comments about the moment that happened during a recent concert in Vancouver. One person posted,
One person posted, “WHATS HER ISSUE,” getting 16,000 likes.
“I’d want every cent of my money back if it was me,” another person wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
One person suggested in a post, “No see clearly was going to do something like bring them onstage or something and realized she couldn’t, way to make a big deal out of nothing burger.”
