Dispatcher helps deliver baby over the phone
(WHTM) — When Cumberland County 911 dispatcher Haley Dressler arrived for the start of her shift on Thursday, she got an emergency phone call for a woman in labor.
With the newly hired staffers watching over her shoulder, Dressler gave medical instructions over the phone and helped deliver a healthy baby in Pennsylvania.
In a Facebook post, the Cumberland County Public Safety Department said Dressler performed one of the happiest and most important tasks a 911 staffer can do.
The Department also said that Dressler gave “awesome customer service.”
