Amber Alert issued for 3-year-old Wisconsin boy
- Elijah, 3, was last seen outside a Two Rivers residence on Tuesday
- The search began after his adult caregiver reported him missing
- He has dark brown hair, brown eyes and a birthmark on his left knee
(NewsNation) — Authorities in Wisconsin are searching for a missing 3-year-old from Two Rivers.
An Amber Alert was issued for Elijah who was last by an adult caregiver at 8 a.m. Tuesday at a residence in the 3900 block of Mishicot Road, according to the Two Rivers Police Department. Police did not report a last name for the child.
Elijah is of Hmong and white descent with dark brown hair and brown eyes. He has a birthmark on his left knee. Police said Elijah was last seen wearing gray pants and an unknown shirt or shoes. He’s possibly carrying a red and white plaid blanket.
Officers began their search at 11 a.m. Tuesday, after the child’s caretaker called county dispatch and said they last saw the little boy three hours earlier.
Police said state and federal emergency response teams are now involved with local agencies in the search, including drones and K9 teams.
Police said there are no family members or associates in the area.
Police are asking anyone to check their surveillance videos and doorbell cameras for video of the child.
