Ashanti Alert issued for missing North Carolina woman

BENSON, N.C. (WNCN) — The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons has issued an Ashanti Alert for a missing North Carolina woman in Harnett County.

Jessi Nicole Cunnius, 22, was last seen in the 1000 block of Silas Moore Road in Benson.

According to the alert, “there is evidence of physical endangerment, abduction or kidnapping.”

Cunnius has blonde hair and blue eyes, is about 5’3″ and weighs approximately 160 pounds. The Harnett County Sheriff’s Office said she was last seen in a black 2018 Honda Civic LX with the North Carolina license plate KCN-2043, traveling in an unknown direction.

Anyone who has seen Cunnius or has information about her whereabouts is asked to call Harnett County Sheriff’s Officer T. Wells at (910) 893-9111.
