(NewsNation) — Law enforcement officials in North Carolina are urgently seeking the community’s assistance in the mysterious disappearance of two mothers, Marissa Carmichael, 25, and Dana Mustian, 33, who vanished without a trace in separate cases.

Carmichael, a mother of five, has been missing since Jan. 14, when she made a distress call to 911 from a Greensboro gas station. She reported being robbed after leaving a nightclub and expressed confusion about her location.

“I don’t know where I am in Greensboro. I just got all my stuff thrown out of the car. He took off with my phone. I have no clue where I’m at. I have no numbers, no nothing,” Carmichael said in the call.

Family and friends of Carmichael have been actively searching the areas she was last seen, pleading for anyone with information to come forward. Sara Carmichael, Marissa’s mother, emphasized the impact on Carmichael’s five young children, who are struggling in her absence.

“They’ve never not seen their mom. In the first week or so, we were saying, ‘Oh, she’s out of town or she’s working,’ trying to keep them occupied. Their mom is ever present in their life,” Sara Carmichael said.

Mustian went missing in November, and her family has been waiting anxiously for her return. The search began when she failed to appear at her daughter’s sixth birthday party. She was last seen at her home in Warrenton, leaving her loved ones puzzled by her sudden disappearance.

There is a $5,000 reward for information leading to Mustian’s whereabouts. To raise awareness, Carmichael’s family organized a local community event wearing matching shirts and carrying signs.
